This past year marked a season of meaningful growth, momentum, and refinement for Trades of Brit. As we close the chapter on 2025, we do so with gratitude and with clarity as we step into 2026.

What began as a vision rooted in science, nature, and skin barrier health continued to evolve into something far greater this year: a community built on trust, education, and intention.

Growing Deeper Roots...Literally and Figuratively

One of our proudest milestones in 2025 was growing our own calendula for the first time. Calendula has long been a cornerstone botanical in our formulations, prized for its soothing, skin-repairing properties. Cultivating it ourselves brought us closer to the land, the ingredient, and the philosophy that guides everything we create: from root to remedy, every step matters.

This commitment to ingredient integrity mirrors how we approach formulation, carefully, thoughtfully, and with respect for the skin’s natural systems.

Expanding Our Voice and Leadership

In 2025, Trades of Brit expanded its voice well beyond the lab.

We were honored to serve as a pop-up business at Powerhouse Women and to speak on their Women to Watch Panel, sharing our journey as a mom-led, science-driven brand. Conversations around balance, leadership, and building with intention reminded us how powerful it is to lead authentically.

We were also selected for two highly respected programs:

• Goldman Sachs One Million Black Women: Black in Business Program

• Arizona Small Business Association’s SCALE Cohort

These opportunities sharpened our strategy, strengthened our operations, and reaffirmed that there is space—and need—for brands that prioritize education and formulation integrity over trends.

Recognition, Reach, and Responsible Growth

Our mission was further amplified through features on four podcasts, where we spoke candidly about skin health, formulation myths, and the importance of respecting the skin barrier.

We proudly won three pitch competitions, validating not only our business model but also our refusal to compromise on quality. Additionally, we secured new wholesale partnerships, allowing more customers to experience Trades of Brit in thoughtfully curated retail spaces.

Community at the Center

At the heart of everything we do is community.

In 2025, we participated in over 30 pop-up events and hosted four educational workshops, prioritizing face-to-face connection, transparency, and hands-on learning. These moments—questions asked, stories shared, feedback exchanged—continue to shape our formulations and offerings.

We were also featured in PHX Finds’ Mother’s Day Gift Guide and appeared on The Morning Show with Melissa Farley and Chris Weir, bringing our mission to an even wider audience.
